Our Story &
Purpose

Founded on faith and fueled by compassion — discover the heart behind Covenant Hope Foundation.

Born from a Promise

"We saw children with no shoes walking miles to school. We saw mothers delivering babies on bare floors. We could not look away."

In 2008, a small group of concerned citizens and faith leaders gathered in Port Harcourt with a shared conviction: that systemic poverty could be confronted with organized love. Covenant Hope Foundation was born from that gathering — a covenant between founders and the communities they pledged to serve.

What began with a single education outreach program in Rivers State has grown into a multi-state organization running integrated development programs across health, education, and economic empowerment. We have never lost sight of our founding covenant: to serve with dignity, humility, and unwavering hope.

Today, with over 200 dedicated staff and volunteers, we operate in 15 states across Nigeria, having directly touched the lives of more than 12,500 individuals. Every number represents a name. Every name represents a story. And every story is why we continue.

Our Core Values

These are not just words on a wall. They are the principles that shape every decision, every program, and every relationship we hold.

01

Dignity

Every person we serve is treated with the utmost respect. We do not give charity — we restore dignity and honor the inherent worth of every human being.

02

Integrity

We are transparent with our donors, accountable to our communities, and honest in all that we do. Trust is the foundation of lasting impact.

03

Excellence

Good intentions alone are not enough. We pursue the highest standards in program design, delivery, and evaluation to ensure genuine, measurable transformation.

04

Covenant

We make and keep promises — to our beneficiaries, partners, and to God. A covenant is not broken when it becomes difficult; it is the reason we press on.
